[epicproviders] Effective 2/19/2026: Adult Temperature Reference Range Update

All Clinicians

Effective February 19, 2026: The reference ranges for the Temperature Flowsheet row have been updated for adult patients. The new normal range for adult temperature is: 36.0°C - 37.9°C. Temperature values documented outside of this range will now display as abnormal.
Important: the new temperature reference range does NOT apply for the following patient populations:

  *   Labor & Delivery
  *   Postpartum
  *   Nursing age 0-28 days

Temperatures that were previously documented as normal for adult patients may now appear as abnormal. This is expected based on the updated reference ranges.
