[LabUpdates] Laboratory Formulary Committee Updates - Change to "hemolyzed" specimens for Potassium

Medicine and laboratory testing are constantly changing. In an attempt to keep us all on the same page, the Laboratory Formulary Committee will be regularly sending out emails with recent updates and guidances. Below are the short version of the relevant change.

Change in reporting "hemolyzed" specimens for potassium: Laboratory testing for potassium is very sensitive to hemolysis.  Beginning March 29th, the threshold at which specimens are labeled as "hemolyzed" will be changed in order so that the clinicians can know how to interpret the reported values.
